Some recent pictures. Blogger is being unco-operative yet again, so I've uploaded these pictures to one of my Picturetrail albums and I'm posting them from there.

This is the Rocky Gorge area, which is just off the Kangamangus Highway in New Hampshire's White Mountains. This was the place we went during the last really hot spell - and the water was icy cold!

Here's a close-up of the two kids in that really cold water. I have to admit, we were very much cooled off after swimming there!

Last week was VBS (Vacation Bible School) at our church. The younger kids (up to 6th grade) had daily activities for about 3-1/2 hours a day; DS loved it, and Mom loved the short break! Here he is wearing the shirt they painted during VBS.

And here he is as part of the skit that the VBS kids put on for us at the end of the week!

13 yr old DD has her own church activities, as part of our church's youth group. This week they are up in Maine, on a mission trip. They are helping paint a church up there, and putting on a "block party" as part of an outreach program. The group (30+ teenagers, and 12 or 14 adult chaperones) left right after Sunday morning service on July 3, and will be back Friday night. This picture is of DD at the front of the church, taking part in the dedication and prayer send-off ceremony. She called last night and told me they're having a great time.
