Another exciting day in the Morse household. First of all, the "dusting" of snow that the weatherman promised (funny how they always take personal responsibility for bringing us weather) is up to about 3" so far. Bleah! I am more than ready for this winter to be over!

But nevertheless stuff gets accomplished. Here are the two nostepindes I turned on the lathe last night. Both are cherry, and my friend Pam, who bought the cherry dowel, gets first pick:

I've also been working on the first beetlebug sweater. I'm up to 14" in length, and need to go another 5-1/2 to 6 inches; so as far as the body goes, I'm well over halfway.

And then (can we stand any more excitement around here? :-) I got a box in the mail from Wendy! This was part of a trade, and will end up as a sweater for 10 yo DD - it'll be a great color for her!
