A birthday present for my hubby!
I've made a few things now on my new lathe, but this is the first pen. It's also only the second acrylic pen I've made, but easily one of the prettiest pens I've ever made! DH has been waiting patiently for a pen from this blue acrylic for a couple of years now.
I used a pewter-colored Woodcraft kit. I think the pewter parts look lovely next to the beautiful blue swirls.

Caroline, I just popped over from the CA list. This pen is gorgeous! I know your hubby will love it...worth the wait. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your handiwork.

Beautiful pen! I love the pen kits down at Woodcraft; I could spend bundles in there if I had the money. :)
