These are the two rovings that my friend Carol and I painted at the
Grafton Fibers Spin-In:




The handpainting demo was conducted by Jeannine Bakriges of The Copper Moth. Obviously, Carol and I didn't do very well - we were supposed to have more colors than this! Jeannine provided dyes in liquid form with brushes; we painted the colors on the rovings, then wrapped it up in plastic wrap and let it sit for 24 hours. Our colors all ran together! There are some small lighter areas in the roving on the right, but the rovings are pretty much all one color. Not bad colors, but not what we intended. Good thing I at least like these colors :-)
