I've added a new webring to the list - the Stitching Bloggers. It's in the sidebar, under the Knitting Blogs button.

I also created (another) new Yahoogroup - IntricateXS. This one is for fans of large, intricate cross stitch work. This is not your usual cross stitch! I looked through the cross stitch groups at Yahoogroups, and found a couple of groups that are related to specific designers, like Teresa Wentzler or Mystic Stitch, but nothing that covered the gamut of large, intricate projects. This group will hopefully fill that gap. The one group I found related to computer-generated cross stitch in general was an "open" group, and filled with nothing but spam and advertisements.

I'm hoping today to get down to a cross stitch shop in Arlington, MA that I've been wanting to visit for quite some time - Cross Stitch Unlimited. I'd like to find shop models or displays of large projects done over-1 on 25 or 32 count fabric to look at in person. I've never been to this place, but I'm hoping they have something I can look at. Some of the computer-generated charts are very large, and that would be one way to reduce their size (but not the complexity!)

On the MLI angel, I've finished the body and dress, and am now working on the wings. Just the wings and head/hands to go, then the gold embellishment. Hey, there is hope that this will be done sometime in my lifetime! Maybe I'll get a chance to take and post some pics of the cross stitch and my most recent quilt blocks this weekend.
