The dubbelmossa is done! DH will be very happy. It is beyond frigid here, and it's not getting any better in the next couple of days. Monday it might get up to freezing.
For those who don't know what a dubbelmossa is (I didn't before I made one for DD), it's a long tube, closed on both ends:
To turn it into a hat, first you stuff one end into the other like so:
Then you turn up the bottom cuff, which gives you four layers over your ears:
Makes for a very warm hat!
The Lo-Tech sweat is on the back of the couch, still needing the hood and pockets attached. But now that DH's hat is done, that should be next on the list. Or maybe some hand-quilting or some cross-stitch... Why is it so hard sometimes to finish things? It's 99% done, for crying out loud!
